Guard Hardener – Strengthen Weak Concrete, Stone and Brick and Stop Dusting

Strengthens weak concrete, stone and brick and stops dusting. Ideal for garage floors, basement walls, facades and old masonry. Makes damaged areas solid again and ready for painting or coating.

Guard Hardener strengthens weak, powdery or damaged concrete, stone and brick. It penetrates deep into the material to restore cohesion and make surfaces solid again, even after exposure to moisture or water infiltration.

It is especially effective on areas that crumble, dust or lose strength over time. After application, treated areas become harder, more resistant and ready for further work such as painting or coating.

Guard Hardener is widely used on walls, floors and facades, both indoors and outdoors. It is ideal for concrete floors in garages, basements and workshops, old brick walls, stone facades, cement renders and screeds.

It can be applied on slightly damp or dry materials, making it practical for renovation projects where humidity is still present. It also helps control dust on concrete floors and worn surfaces, improving cleanliness and comfort in everyday use.

Typical applications include basement walls affected by moisture, dusty concrete garage floors, ageing stone facades, crumbling cement coatings and weakened brickwork.

Easy to apply, it is sprayed or rolled in two passes until the material no longer absorbs. Once dry, the treated area is stronger, cleaner and ready for finishing.

Application :

• Remove traces of saltpetre or efflorescence on
the surface.
• Dilute the product halfway (1 volume of Guard Hardener to volume of water).
• Spray on 2 coats of product with an interval of at least 1 hour between them, until the product ceases to soak in.
• Do not overload the support, remove the excess before drying (risk of whitish deposits and/or shiny appearance).
• Optimal efficiency obtained after 2 to 15 days of drying.
• To protect the support against water and stains, complete the treatment with the application of the protective product ProtectGuard HD. This processing will take place after a period of 10 days minimum.

Important note:
If there is thickly clustered white powder (sodium) on
the surface, simply brush it off with a gentle scrubbing
brush (Mexican dandy brush) 5 to 8 days after applica
tion. Before any painting or rendering work, wait 1 to
2 months for the excess of this powder to come away
and check adhesion by performing a test.

Product is alkaline. Handle preferably with gloves and goggles. Protect painted surfaces, glass, tiles and light alloys (aluminium, chrome, copper, zinc, etc).

Accidental splashes should be rinsed off immediately with water.
