Invisible protection against water, oil and stains for concrete, stone and brick. Suitable for all concrete types and natural stone including marble, granite and sandstone. Works on both porous and dense materials. Helps prevent infiltration and limits the formation of efflorescence, moss and lichen.

ProtectGuard HP is an invisible sealer that protects concrete, stone and brick from water, oil and stains. It helps keep concrete, marble, granite, sandstone and brick clean for longer, helps prevent infliltration and reduces marks caused by daily use and weather. What's more it limits the formation of efflorescence, moss and lichen.

It works on all types of concrete (reinforced, precast, fibre-reinforced, UHPC, GRC) and natural stone such as marble, granite and sandstone, including polished or crystallised finishes. It is suitable for both porous and dense concrete and stone, making it ideal for projects combining different finishes and levels of porosity.

The finish remains completely natural, without changing the colour or appearance of concrete, stone or brick. These materials remain breathable and are easier to clean and maintain over time.

Suitable for floors, walls, terraces, facades, driveways, patios, kitchens and bathrooms. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

USE

Protection for all types of concrete and porous or low-porosity building materials such as stone, brick, marble, granite, sandstone, polished or crystallised surfaces, etc.

Apply on a clean, dry material using a roller, brush or sprayer.

Allow the product to penetrate evenly.

Do not over-apply.

The material can be used again once dry.

USE

Surface preparation :

    Apply the product to a surface that is clean, dust-free, grease-free and dry.
  • 2
    In case of races of efflorescence, laitance or cement bloom: Clean using Guard Cleaner® Surface Preparation to allows the elimination. Repeat the operation in case of persistent traces. This step also open up the porosity of the concrete and allow optimum grip of the protection.
  • 3
    Rinse carefully with a pressure washer until the surface is free from all traces of the cleaner. Wait for complete drying through, approximately 24/48 hours before treatment.

Application :

• The treated surface should be impregnated to saturation point in one application.
• Allow the product to penetrate and dry (10 to 60 minutes depending on the porosity and temperature of the material).
• Do not over apply, eliminate any exceeding product before drying.
• On vertical surfaces, apply from the bottom-up.
• Surface dries in 1 hour.
• The surface must be protected from traffic and liquids (rain, grease, etc.) for 24 hours
• Optimum effectiveness obtained after 7 days.

    Sprayer or roller

    Apply with a low-pressure sprayer with a Viton seal at 2 bar pressure or with a roller.
