ProtectGuard Color High Jewellery is a decorative concrete stain that colours, enhances and protects concrete at the same time. It transforms raw concrete into a decorative finish with metallic, pearlescent, iridescent or luminous effects.
It protects concrete from water, oil, dirt and everyday stains, helping keep facades, walls and decorative concrete clean for longer. Colours remain vibrant and resistant to UV exposure over time.
The finish can be adapted to your project with different levels of opacity, from transparent to semi-opaque or fully opaque. The final colour depends on both the chosen shade and the original colour of the concrete, allowing unique decorative results.
It can be applied on all types of concrete (cast, precast, fibre-reinforced, UHPC, GRC), indoors and outdoors, on walls and facades.
Easy to apply, it is ready to use and does not require a primer on standard concrete. It penetrates into the concrete, allowing it to breathe while ensuring long-lasting protection without peeling.
Concrete stays protected against dirt build-up, pollution, water infiltration and freeze–thaw damage. Cleaning is easier and maintenance is reduced over time.
Its plant-based formula is made with ingredients derived from natural sources such as corn, beetroot and tree resin, offering an even higher performance on concrete, without any primer.

Surface preparation :

1Apply the product to a surface that is clean, dust free, grease-free and dry.

2If efflorescence, laitance, white traces: Clean using Guard Cleaner® Surface Preparation to allows the elimination of traces of efflorescence, laitance or cement bloom. To renew in case of persistent traces. This step also open up the porosity of the concrete and allow optimum grip of the protection.

3Rinse carefully with a pressure washer until the surface is free from all traces of the cleaner.

4Wait for complete drying through, approximately 24 hours before treatment
Application :
Mix the product for at least 3 minutes using a mechanical agitator to homogenise the pigments with the rest of the composition.
The final visual result is obtained after 24 hours of
drying.
• Protected drying: 24 hours.
• Optimum effectiveness obtained after 7 days.
Application by HVLP :
• Apply from the bottom up in at least 2 cross coats.
Do not exceed the recommended final consumption
of 120 to 160 g/m2.
• Do not overload.
• Drying time between each coat: 15 to 60 minutes
depending on weather conditions. The 1st coat must
be dry to the touch before applying the 2nd coat.
Application roller:
• Apply from the bottom up in at least 2 cross coats.
Do not exceed the recommended final consumption
of 120 to 160 g/m2.
• Do not overload.
• Drying time between each coat: 15 to 60 minutes
depending on weather conditions. The 1st coat must
be dry to the touch before applying the 2nd coat.
