to 1 cm thickness.

ImperGuard^® SV It works on both porous stone that absorbs water easily and denser stone that absorbs very little, helping reduce water intake across a wide range of building materials such as granite, marble, sandstone, brick and concrete.

ImperGuard SV penetrates into the material up to 1 cm, creating protection from within while keeping the natural appearance unchanged. This outstanding performance deeply protects porous and low porous concretes against penetration by precipitation.

It is a highly efficient solvent-based product designed to protect stone, concrete against water penetration.

ImperGuard SV thus eliminates erosion, degradation due to continuous ‘freezethaw’ cycles, efflorescence, saltpeter, development of micro-organisms, etc.

Once applied, it remains invisible and does not alter colour or texture. It allows the material to breathe, letting internal moisture escape while blocking rainwater.

Ideal for exterior use on walls, facades and other areas exposed to weather, whether made of porous stone, dense stone or concrete.

Surface preparation :

The conditions of application and substrate preparation must comply with French unified code of practice DTU 59.1.

Apply the product to a clean, dust-free, grease-free and dry surface.

Clean using Guard Cleaner® Surface Preparation to open up the porosity of the concrete and allow optimum grip of the protection. This step also allows the elimination of traces of efflorescence, laitance or cement bloom. Repeat the operation in case of persistent traces.

To remove grease stains, use Guard Cleaner® Maintenance.

Rinse carefully until the surface is free of any trace of cleaner.

Wait for complete drying through, approximately 24 hours before treatment.

Application :

Use the product in its pure form: do not dilute it.
Shake the packaging well before use and carry out a preliminary test.
Apply the product in one layer.
Let the product penetrate and dry (from 10 to 60 min)
Do not overload the material, remove any excess with a soft cloth dabbing the material before drying.
The surface must be protected for 24 hours (rain, grease, etc.).
Optimum efficiency of the product obtained after 48 hours.
