ProtectGuard Color 30 Express is a coloured sealer for fresh concrete that protects and decorates concrete just 24 hours after pouring or demoulding. No primer needed. Ready to use. It Protects against water, stains, efflorescence and graffiti, without waiting 28 days.
It colours concrete with a semi-opaque finish while protecting it against water, oil, dirt and everyday stains. It also helps reduce white marks caused by efflorescence, keeping concrete cleaner and more uniform over time.
Suitable for all types of concrete such as cast concrete, precast elements, fibre-reinforced concrete, UHPC and GRC, it can be used on walls, facades and vertical concrete indoors and outdoors.
Available in a wide range of colours, it enhances concrete while keeping its natural mineral look. The final shade depends on both the selected colour and the original tone of the concrete.
Easy to use, it is ready to apply and works directly on young concrete without primer. It penetrates into the concrete, allowing it to breathe while providing long-lasting protection.
Concrete stays protected from water penetration, stains, pollution and weather exposure. Cleaning is easier and the appearance remains consistent over time.

USE
Use on all exterior and interior vertical surfaces of untreated concrete (regular concrete, precast, fibre-reinforced, UHPC, GRC) older than 24 hour.
Apply on clean concrete at least 24 hours after pouring or demoulding. Mix well before use to ensure an even colour.
Apply evenly in two cross coats using a roller, brush or sprayer. Allow 15 to 30 minutes between coats. Adjust the number of coats to reach the desired colour intensity.
Avoid excess product and allow to dry for 24 hours. Full performance is reached after a few days.

USE

Surface preparation :

1Apply the product to concrete that has been freshly demoulded for more than 24 hours.

2The surface must be clean, free of dust, efflorescence and mould release oil residues. If not clean with Guard Cleaner® Surface Preparation and/or Guard Cleaner® Maintenance.

3On concrete that has dried for more than 48 hours, cleaning must be carried out.

4Rinse carefully with a pressure washer until the surface is free from all traces of the cleaner. Allow to dry for at least 12 hours before applying the protection.
Application :
•Mix the product for at least 3 minutes using a mechanical agitator to homogenise the pigments with the rest of the composition.
• Always carry out a full preliminary test under actual conditions of use on a small surface to check effectiveness and compatibility with the substrate.
• Apply from the bottom up in 2 criss-cross coats.
• Drying time between coats: 15 to 30 minutes.
• Do not overload the substrate, remove any excess before drying.
• Protected drying and palletisation time under film: 24 hours.
• Optimum effectiveness obtained after 7 days.
