ProtectGuard Express is a water-based concrete sealer designed for the protection of fresh and young concrete from 24 hours after demoulding. It protects surfaces against water penetration, oil, stains, dirt and efflorescence while preserving the natural appearance of the substrate.

Thanks to its non-film-forming technology, ProtectGuard Express penetrates deeply into the material, allowing the surface to breathe while ensuring long-lasting protection. It is UV-resistant, non-yellowing and suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

Ideal for the concrete industry, it can be applied to precast elements, fibre-reinforced concrete, UHPC and architectural concrete, significantly reducing waiting times by eliminating the traditional 28-day curing period. Treated surfaces can be handled, protected and delivered within 48 hours.

ProtectGuard Express also acts as a sacrificial anti-graffiti barrier and simplifies maintenance by limiting dirt adhesion and surface degradation caused by weathering, freeze-thaw cycles and pollution.

Ready to use and easy to apply, this water-based, low-VOC and solvent-free solution is suitable for facades, floors and roofs.

Surface preparation :

Apply the product to concrete that has been freshly demoulded for more than 24 hours. The surface must be clean, free of dust, efflorescence and mould release oil residues.

If the surface requires prior cleaning for the reasons mentioned above, clean with Guard Cleaner

On concrete that has dried for more than 48 hours, cleaning must be carried out. Rinse carefull with a pressure washer until the surface is free from all traces of the cleaner.

Allow to dry for at least 12 hours before applying the protection.

Application :

Mix the product for at least 3 minutes using a mechanical agitator to homogenise the product.
Apply from the bottom up in 2 criss-cross
coats.
Drying time between coats: 15 to 30 minutes.
Do not overload the substrate, remove any excess before drying.
Protected drying and palletisation time under
film: 24 hours.
Optimum effectiveness obtained after 7 days.
