Decorative Concrete Guard®
A 3-step decorative concrete system: colour + protection + finishing wax
Decorative Concrete Guard® includes three complimentary products offering an original and stable colouration, effective and long-lasting protection, in addition to an attractive waxed finish.
Step 1: colour
Decorative Concrete Guard® Color is a semi-transparent decorative product which is uniformly absorbed into the fabric of the concrete surface without modifying the texture or the mineral effect of the substrate. Available in 15 colours, Decorative Concrete Guard® Color allows you to give floors an attractive facelift, enabling you to experiment traditional shades as well as several effects:patina, shaded and watered effects... or more uniform finishes;
Step 2: protection
Decorative Concrete Guard® Protect protects floors against water penetration, greasy or oily stains and day-to-day soiling (wine, oil, coffee...). Decorative Concrete Guard® Protect delivers a wax finish to the treated surface, as well as bringing up the true colour. is a penetrating product and leaves the substrate permeable to air and water vapour.
Step 3: finish
Decorative Concrete Guard® Finish is a finishing wax designed to protect floors against traffic and micro scratches. It makes it possible to regain that brand-new appearance for the waxed surface and keeps it clean for far longer. Once diluted in cleaning water, Decorative Concrete Guard® Finish can be used for regular floor maintenance.

Surface preparation :

1The conditions of application and substrate preparation must meet French unified code of practice DTU 59.3.

2Apply the product to a surface that is clean, dust-free and dry.

3In case of application of a self-levelling compound, follow the manufacturer’s instructions, work at a constant temperature, and always incorporate the same amount of water.

4After drying recommended by the manufacturer (at least 72h at 20°C with a humidity level of 50%), smooth any proud areas with a fine grit (180) for a perfectly smooth surface.

5Use an industrial vacuum cleaner to thoroughly vacuum the substrate.
Application :
Step 1: Decorative Concrete Guard® Colour
- Apply sparingly in 2 to 3 thin, even layers. See application details in the technical data sheet.
- Drying time between each layer: 30 min at 20°C.
- Drying before application of Decorative Concrete Guard Protect: 1 hour at 20°C.
Step 2: Decorative Concrete Guard® Protect
- Application in 2 to 3 pure layers. See application details in the technical data sheet.
- Drying time between each layer: 1 hour at 20°C.
- Drying before application of Decorative Concrete Guard Protect: 4 to 6 hours at 20°C.
Step 3: Decorative Concrete Guard® Finish
- Application in 2 pure layes. See application details in the technical data sheet.
- Drying time between each layer: 1 hour at 20°C.
- Drying time before permitting light traffic: 6 hours.
- Drying time before permitting normal traffic: 24 hours.
