ProtectGuard ® Plant-Based Formula is a bio-based protective treatment designed to repel water and oil while protecting both porous and low-porosity materials. It durably protects all porous and low-porous materials.
ProtectGuard Plant-based Formula protects against water penetration and limits the negative effects caused by damp. It prevents penetration from soiling and greasy stains. It slows down the ageing of the material and makes it easier to maintain.
ProtectGuard Plant-based Formula resists to funghi and limits the formation of moss and lichens. Its formulation also limits slipperiness of floors.
ProtectGuard Plant-based Formula is a non-film forming product. It is completely colourless after application, it does not change the appearance or the nature of the treated material. It is also is fully UV ray resistant and does not yellow over time.
ProtectGuard Plant-based Formula is a biosourced product derived from biomass, it has been formulated on the basis of ingredients of plant origin (wheat, corn, beetroot and tree resin.). The use of plant molecules contributed to increase its efficiency on more stones: both porous and low porous.

USE

Surface preparation :

1Apply the product to a clean, dust-free, grease-free and dry surface.

2To remove stains and traces of pollution, use Guard Wash® Express.

3To remove grease stains, use Guard Cleaner® Degreaser Plant-Based Formula.

4To remove traces of efflorescence, laitance or grout film, use Guard Remover® Efflorescence & Cement Plant-Based Formula.

5Rinse carefully until the surface is free of any trace of cleaner.
Application :
- Use the product in its pure form: do not dilute it.
- Shake the packaging well before use and carry out a preliminary test.
- The material must be impregnated up to saturation in a single coat.
- On very porous materials, apply a second coat after 15 minutes.
- Do not spray the product, apply with a roller or a brush.
- On vertical materials, apply from bottom to top
- In some cases, product can leave white marks on the surface after application. Marks will disappear after complete drying.
- Do not overload the material, remove any excess before drying.
- Protected drying: 24 hours.
- Optimal efficiency reached after 7 days.
