ImperGuard CE – Concrete Water Repellent for Walls – Invisible Protection Against Water, Moisture

Wall Water-repellent protection for all concretes. It protects from water, moisture and limits efflorescence formation, moss and lichen growth and deterioration resulting from freeze thaw cycle. Compliant with Standard EN 1504-2.

ImperGuard® CE protect all concrete from water, corrosion up to 5 years. It penetrates deep into the concrete and blocks water from entering, helping to reduce damage from rain, freeze-thaw cycles and everyday weathering. At the same time, it allows the concrete to breathe, so trapped moisture can escape.

This protection helps extend the life of walls by limiting internal damage caused by water infiltration and environmental exposure.

After application, it remains completely invisible and does not change the appearance. It is fully resistant to UV rays and will not yellow over time.

ImperGuard CE is a non-film forming impregnation product, concrete is still permeable to air and water vapour for both new and existing concrete.

ImperGuard® CE is a concrete protection product with CE marking, compliant with Standard NF EN 1504-2, enabling all concrete structure protection requirements to be be met.

Surface preparation :

    The conditions of application and substrate preparation must comply with French unified code of practice DTU 59.1.
  • 2
    Apply the product to a clean, dust-free, grease-free and dry surface.
  • 3
    Clean using Guard Cleaner® Surface Preparation to open up the porosity of the concrete and allow optimum grip of the protection. This step also allows the elimination of traces of efflorescence, laitance or cement bloom. To renew in case of persistent traces.

    To remove grease stains, use Guard Cleaner® Maintenance.
  • 5
    Rinse carefully until the surface is free of any trace of cleaner.
  • 6
    Wait for complete drying through, approximately 24 hours before treatment.

Application :

  • Use the product in its pure form: do not dilute it.
  • Shake the packaging well before use and carry out a preliminary test.
  • Apply the product to saturation from bottom to top in 2 to 3 « wet on wet » applications.
  • The surface must be protected for 24 hours (rain, grease, etc.).
  • Optimum efficiency of the product obtained after 72 hours.
