GLISS’GUARD is for use in factories, communual areas, nursing homes, entrance halls, gyms, swimming pool surrounds, pedestrian crossings, kitchens, shower units and bathtubs … and anywhere the floors are slippery, especially when wet.
All slip resistant products available on the market today mainly use HYDROFLUORIC ACID which is also called HYDROFLUORIC ACID, in a variable percentage.
This component is an extremely corrosive acid whose specific property is to dissolve silica.
But, all materials prone to slip are minerals that contain significant amounts of silica, which has a crystal appearance.

When a product with hydrofluoric acid is applied to a surface, these crystals are destroyed and leave holes which create a « vacuum effect ».
The major inconvenience with this sort of procedure is in handling particular dangerous anti-slip products. Also, it often drastically modifies the surface’s appearance by rapidly attracting dirt, as the holes fill with soiling and dust.

GLISS’GUARD is a revolutionary product in the sense that it also uses the silica contained in materials, but it proceeds with a chemical reaction that will schematically graft new molecules on the existing ones in the support.
This gives an anti-slip effect that is greater and longer lasting with minimal change to the surface.

It is 98% biodegradable and its pleasant odour enables it to be used anywhere, even in a closed room.

USAGE
PROCEDURES
- For concrete, terrazo slabs: To be used undiluted( allow to react for 60 minutes)
- For slabs, porcelain, tiles: To be used pure undiluted( allow to react for 20-30 minutes)
- For marble and polished granite: To be used diluted 1:1 with water ( allow to react for 15-20 minutes)
- GLISS’GUARD is ready to use but can be diluted up to 1 :1 with water.
- Pour or spray the product onto clean and dry surface applying it with the assistance of a brush or a low-pressure spray. Make sure the product stays present over the complete surface during the treatment. Add product if necessary.
ATTENTION : Do not let the product dry during the whole treatment time - After treatment, rinse carefully with water
- The treated surface can be used immediately
Depending on the floor and the resistance level to desired scrubbing, begin the operation again.
