Coloured impregnation glazing for a concrete floor

• Decorative Concrete Guard Color is a high-performance impregnation product designed to colour concrete floors while retaining the concrete’s original appearance. Floors treated with Decorative Concrete Guard Color should be protected with Decorative Concrete Guard Protect and Decorative Concrete Guard Finish to ensure protection against water, oil and dirt.
• Decorative Concrete Guard Color works with a double effect. Firstly, it hardens by reacting with cement lime to form mineral composites which harden in the crystalline structure of the concrete. Secondly, the acrylic base allows good adhesion of pigments within the concrete.
• Decorative Concrete Guard Color is environmentally friendly. It is a water-borne product (non-toxic, petrol solvent and silicone-free) designed to colour porous materials for the long term.
• Decorative Concrete Guard Color is not a paint. It is a non-film forming impregnation product. Consequently, the substrate remains permeable to air and water vapor. The product is particularly suitable for concrete, with its property of being semi-transparent retaining the appearance and “mineral effect” of the substrate. He allows to change the shade of concrete and does not correct the defects of aspect of the support (roughness, asperity, etc).
