PRECAUTIONS :

  • Surfaces should not be treated until they have first been cleaned of all atmospheric pollution and all stains.
  • Do not dilute or mix this water repellent with another product.
  • For ideal application and effective protection, ImperGuard MG must be stirred and it is essential that it be used only when the substrate temperature is between 15°C and 25°C.
  • Do not apply in rain or very hot weather. Ideal temperature for treatment: between 15°C et 25°C.
  • Protective mask, gloves and clothing recommended.
  • Always handle the product in a well ventilated space.
  • Keep in a dry place (between 5°C and 30°C).
  • Storage: 24 months following the production date when kept in the original unopened container.

APPLICATION

  • Apply the product to a surface that is clean, dust-free, grease-free and dry. To remove stains and marks of pollution use Guard Cleaner Eco Polluted Facades. For greasy stains, use Guard Cleaner Eco Soiled Floors. For efflorescence, laitance or concrete bloom use Guard Remover Eco Efflorescence & Cement.
  • Rinse carefully and wait until the surface is perfectly dry and free of all traces of cleaner. This is essential as it promotes chemical bonding and ensures the effectiveness of the treatment.
  • Use neat, do not dilute.
  • Shake the product well before use.
  • Always carry out a preliminary test.
  • Apply one coat of product to the whole of the substrate.
  • Allow the product to penetrate and dry (10 to 60 minutes depending on the porosity and the temperature of the material).
  • Do not overload the substrate. Remove any excess by patting with a clean cloth before the product has dried on the substrate.
  • Surface dries in one hour.
  • The surface must be protected for 24 hours from traffic and liquids (rain, grease, etc.). The surface can be polished without abrasion after treatment.
  • Reaches maximum effectiveness after 48 hours.

MAINTENANCE

Stubborn dirt should be cleaned off with clean water or with Guard Maintenance Eco.
