PRECAUTIONS :

  • Being an alkaline product, extended contact with skin can cause burns.
  • It is recommended to wear protective gloves and glasses, and adequate clothing.
  • Protect openings: it is aggressive towards glass as well as metals and their alloys.
  • Do not dilute or mix with another product.
  • Do not apply during rain, and when temperature is <5°C or > 30°C.
  • Keep in a dry place (between 5°C and 30°C).
  • Storage: 24 months following the production date when kept in the original unopened container.

APPLICATION

  • Always test on a small hidden portion of the substrate before applying.
  • Decap'Façades Guard can be used neat or diluted up to 1 volume of product with 8 volumes of water.
  • Saturate the substrate with water.
  • Apply the product with a brush or roller.
  • Allow it to act from several minutes to several hours depending on the level of soiling. .
  • Rinse the substrate with a high-pressure cleaner with cold water or hot water for increased effectiveness.
  • Neutralise with a diluted acid (such as Decap'Laitances Guard), then rinse thoroughly.

MAINTENANCE

In order to prevent future soiling, it is recommended to protect the surface with ProtectGuard.
