PRECAUTIONS :

  • Protection is necessary when the product is spray applied.
  • Remove all atmospheric pollution-related dirt from surfaces prior to application.
  • To obtain the best look and results, AntiGraffiti Guard Special Steel & Painted Surfaces should be shaken before use.
  • Do not apply during rain or frost and when surface and air temperature is > 10°C and < 30°C.
  • Do not dilute or mix with any other product.
  • Keep in a dry place (between 5°C and 30°C).
  • Storage: 24 months following the production date when kept in the original unopened container.

APPLICATION

  • Apply the product to a clean and dry surface. Bear in mind that correct preparation is essential; the condition of the substrate plays a major role in the look and performance of the final coating, especially as regards the adhesion of AntiGraffiti Guard Special Steel & Painted Surfaces to the substrate.
  • Thoroughly mix part A (base) to obtain a homogenous liquid free of any sediment.
  • Add part B (hardener) of AntiGraffiti Guard Special Steel & Painted Surfaces to part A (base) while stirring at a moderate rate using an electrical mixer for at least 5 minutes
  • AntiGraffiti Guard Special Steel & Painted Surfaces dose proportions are set in the factory. The complete dose of component A must be mixed with the complete dose of component B. Under no circumstances should the A/B ratio be modified.
  • Once mixed, allow the mix to breath in air for 15 minutes, then stir again for 1 minute.
  • The viscosity of the product can be reduced by adding 10% water. This can be useful during hot weather to increase the open time.
  • This mixture can be used for 6 hours at an ambient temperature of less than 25° C.
  • For best results and ease of coverage, AntiGraffiti Guard Special Steel & Painted Surfaces is best applied using a spray gun (such as HVLP). A brush or roller can also be used.
  • Apply 2 coats of AntiGraffiti Guard Special Steel & Painted Surfaces. Drying time between two coats: 60 minutes. Make sure the substrate is dry and non-sticky before applying another coat.
  • Do not use too much product as this makes the coating film too thick.
  • Protect against rain for 24 hours.
  • Maximum efficacy obtained after 5 to 7 days.

APPLICATION EQUIPMENT



Preferably use an HLVP spray unit. You can also use a brush or roller.
