PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
IMPERGUARD is a water repellent product designed to protect building façades against damp.
IMPERGUARD is designed for both indoor and outdoor use on any kind of porous material, (although this type of treatment is relevant only for vertical or steeply sloping surfaces). Natural stone, concrete, terracotta, cement and self-locking paving may all be treated with this product.
IMPERGUARD is an environmentally-friendly water-borne treatment, (non toxic, solvent-free) that protects all porous materials from the problems associated with water penetration.
IMPERGUARD is an impregnation treatment that offers long-lasting protection against rain penetration in walls without preventing their breathing (walls remain permeable to air and water vapour).
IMPERGUARD is completely colourless after application and does not change the appearance or composition of the material treated. It is UV-resistant and does not discolor with age.
Moreover, the presence of surfactants in the product lowers the surface tension of the solution and means equally good results can be obtained as when using a solvent-borne product. In the majority of cases, IMPERGUARD's water repelling qualities become fully effective two to five days after application.

COVERAGE PER LITRE
Coverage depends on the porosity of the material. The figures below are approximate and should be used only as a general guideline:
3 - 5 m² / litre
USAGE
- Shake the container well before use
- Ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dust-free and dry before applying the product
- Use neat, do not dilute
- Apply using a low-pressure sprayer, roller or brush
- The treated surface should be impregnated to saturation point, either in one application or in two applications ‘wet-on-wet’
- On vertical surfaces, apply from the bottom up
- Drying time: 24 hours
- For the best results: wait 5 to 7 days
