PRECAUTIONS :

  • Do not dilute or mix with another product.
  • Do not apply on organic, metallic and waterproof materials.
  • Do not apply during rain or frost. and when surface and air temperature is >5°C & < 30°C.
  • In some situations, applying the product can reduce a substrate's slip resistance.
  • The degree of 'wet-look' varies according to the type of substrate.
  • Always start with a test, especially on materials with low porosity (marble, granite, sandstone…).
  • Keep in a dry place (between 5°C and 30°C).
  • Storage: 12 months following the production date when kept in the original unopened container.

APPLICATION

  • The substrate must be clean, dust-free and dry.
  • Always test on a small portion of the substrate before applying.
  • Shake the container thoroughly for 5 minutes before each application.
  • Use the product neat; do not dilute.
  • ProtectGuard 'Wet-Look' can be applied in 2 or 3 layers until saturation point, depending on the desired gloss level. If the substrate to be treated is particularly porous, then a first impregnation application (with the product diluted in 20 to 30% of water) is recommended.
  • Apply a first application on the entire substrate. Let it penetrate and dry (between 15 and 30 minutes depending on the material's porosity and temperature), then make a second application.
  • Do not over-apply product. Eliminate all excess before drying 30 minutes after application.
  • In order to enhance the gloss level, it is possible to make a third application after drying for 30 min.
  • Drying time before the substrate can be used: 24 hours.
  • Optimum effectiveness obtained after 5 to 7 days.
  • Clean equipment with water immediately after use.

MAINTENANCE

  • Domestic stains can be cleaned with a scrubbing brush and clear water, to which can be added a detergent with a neutral pH such as Décap'Sols Guard Ecological.
  • Depending on traffic-induced wear, the protection and 'wet-look' can be regenerated by applying ProtectGuard 'Wet-Look' neat or diluted upto 50% of water.
