PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

PROTECTGUARD Wet Look Semi Gloss is an all-in product offering both water and oil repellency protection to all porous building materials, and is particularly suited for flooring.

PROTECTGUARD Wet Look Semi Gloss can be used inside and outside on all porous materials such as natural stone, concrete, terracotta, cement and self-locking paving.

PROTECTGUARD Wet Look Semi Gloss is an environmentally friendly, completely water-borne product that is non-toxic and does not contain solvents or silicone. It is designed to protect all porous materials from water and oil penetration and all types of staining.

PROTECTGUARD Wet Look Semi Gloss is an impregnating acrylic wax that leaves the treated surface permeable to both air and water vapour.

PROTECTGUARD Wet Look Semi Gloss delivers a gloss/satin ‘wet look’ to the treated surface, as well as bringing up the true colour. It is also UV-resistant and does not discolor with time.

A surface treated with PROTECTGUARD Wet Look Semi Gloss is easier to care for and will be protected against the main causes of deterioration such as atmospheric pollution, grease-based stains and penetration by liquids.

CHARACTERISTICS

Can be applied to vertical, horizontal, inside and outside surfaces
Prevents the penetration of water and oily liquids
Anti-staining, anti-dirt. Prevents chewing-gum from sticking to treated surfaces and stops dirt due to pollution from building up again. Limits moss and lichen growth.
Prevents deterioration resulting from the freeze-thaw cycle
Makes cleaning easier
Non film-forming, allows the surface to breathe
Non-hazardous and non-toxic

COVERAGE PER LITRE

Coverage depends on the porosity of the material. The figures below are approximate and should be used only as a general guideline:
6 - 10 m² / litre

USAGE

Shake the container well before using
Apply the product to the surface only after it has been cleaned, dusted and dried
Use neat, do not dilute
Apply using a wet mop or a roller
The treated surface should be impregnated to saturation point, and two applications should be applied. Time interval between applications: 30 minutes
To accentuate the ‘wet look’ you may add a third application after leaving to dry for an hour
Do not over-apply the product, remove any excess
Drying time before traffic or people are allowed back onto treated surface:
24 hours
For the optimim performance: wait 5 to 7 days
