PRECAUTIONS :

  • Decap'Sols Guard is an alkaline-based product and prolonged contact with skin may cause burns. Always wear protective clothing, gloves and goggles.
  • Do not leave too long on asphalt or similar surfaces, as this product may damage the surface.
  • To obtain the best finish and results following application, Decap'Sols Guard should be shaken before use.
  • Do not apply during rain or frost and when surface and air temperature is > 10°C and < 30°C.
  • Keep in a dry place (between 5°C and 30°C).
  • Storage: 24 months following the production date when kept in the original unopened container.

APPLICATION

  • A preliminary test on a small area is strongly advised.
  • Shake the container well before use.
  • Depending on the level of soiling, use the product neat or diluted in a ratio of up to 1:5 with water.
  • Generously spray the surface to be treated using a low pressure spray unit.
  • Depending on the level of soiling, allow the product to act for between a few minutes and several hours.
  • Brushing with a standard yard brush may improve the effectiveness of the product.
  • Rinse the surface treated using either a cold water high pressure power washer, or for extra effectiveness, use hot water.
  • Use Decap'Sols Plus Guard to restore a neutral pH to the treated surface, then rinse once again.

MAINTENANCE

In order to avoid future soiling, it is recommend to finish with a protection treatment of either ProtectGuard or ProtectGuard FT.
